Our Story

Dr. Khalil Orsborn (Dr. 0) and his wife Ashley Bell Orsborn are currently operating a successful Orthodontics practice at two locations in Jacksonville Florida. Upon graduation from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), Dr. Orsborn was accepted to the famed Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C. It was there that he pledged the incomparable Omicron Lambda Alpha chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated and served as President of the Student National Dental Association. He excelled academically, and after four years, he graduated 7th in a class of 78 to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Mrs. Orsborn also began her post high school journey at (FAMU) and continued her educational path at the University of North Florida (UNF), where she sharpened her keen interest in the field of health care and graduated with a degree in Health Care Administration. It was at UNF that she made the astute decision to become a member of the elite sisterhood of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Mu Theta Chapter.

there's more..

In 2006, Dr. O relocated from South Carolina to Jacksonville, FL where he hung his shingle and opened Orsborn Orthodontics. It was here where Dr. O and Mrs. O began their courtship. They discovered that combining their personal love for one another and their educational accomplishments was the perfect recipe for success. She had the vision, and he had the dreams. They are a dynamic team that operates two successful practices and have treated over 10,000 smiles in Jacksonville. Their practice is truly a family business. Ashley’s mother, and from time-to-time their children have been known to collaborate with the couple. They consistently participate with and support their patients by attending and sponsoring their academic, athletic and social activities. The practice enthusiastically gives back to the community through the Orsborn Foundation, with annual Turkey and gift card Give-Away’s during Thanksgiving; contributing to the Moore Myers Children’s Fund; making Christmas boxes for the homeless; awarding free braces to children of less fortunate families; and assisting, via donations to various scholarships to help graduating seniors as they leave for college.
